We stayed for one night before going off to Heron Island, and upon arrival were pleased to find that the B&B was a traditional Queenslander style house, which we wanted to stay in. We were not disappointed, and the house had been lovingly restored and was very clean and pleasantly furnished. Good and secure off-road parking. Shelley and Dennis were exceptional hosts and good to talk to - could have spent all night chatting!
Breakfast was very good and healthy, and served on the veranda. Nothing was too much trouble and we were sad to leave. A little over our normal budget at $200, but seemed like the rate for a boom town like Gladstone.
Convenient for supermarket and restaurants, which you could walk to.
