I had the chicken parmigiana ($17) and my husband had the 400g steak ($20) and both were good value, coming with chips and salad. Steak wasn't so much rare as we asked but it was tender so not so much an issue. Place your order at the bar and then watch the wall ticker for you number then go fetch, we didn't realise this and were waiting for the meals to come lol. It was a quiet Sunday so the meals came quickly. Probably the weird bit was watching the young chefs stuff around in the open kitchen, I think that steak he just held up for his mates to watch and frisbeed from the cold room to the grill was ours?? The amount of popping to the left just out of view to scoff food, it's a wonder they time to cook, walking around with hilarious chipmunk cheeks. Mucking around, back slapping and watching the cricket, well at least they enjoy their time on the job I guess. In an increasingly expensive Gladstone, I thought this pretty good for a pub lunch.
