A lovely, cosy and casual restaurant at the top of Rainbow Bay with great views from upstairs out to Dbar beach - many of the local surfers grab their food here. Nightly entertainment - a really nice feel to it.

Yes, Dbar is a good cafe with wonderful views. But at $5.50 for a mug of luke warm coffee, it's pretty exey. If you're a local and the view is there every day, there are certainly cheaper and more efficient places to get a decent coffee. And, while the serves of cake in the coffee and cake special are very generous and delicious, a friend had the poached eggs, bacon and fried potato breakfast, which, she said, was tasty but it was by no means a large serve and, again, on the high side in terms of cost. The wait staff seem a tad casual, even by Gold Coast standards. By all means visit the Dbar, it's a special setting, and I recommend the take away hot chips.

We recently enjoyed lunch at this café. Meals are ordered at the counter downstairs and then the restaurant is upstairs. The view is amazing. We shared a couple of "short boards" which were Turkish bread with duck and mushrooms and a vegetarian choice. Both were delicious and very large serves.
Will definitely be back.

Dinner at Dbah cafe was great. The food was great especially the Tapas. After that pizza was very hot and tasty. Loved every minute. Complimentry olives on arrival. Live music was pleasant.

we were staying a few days in Rainbow Bay and found this little gem on our morning walk and decided to try it out for late Sunday afternoon drinks and tapas. Great feel to the place with relaxing live music. Couldn't fault the service and the tapas dishes we ordered were delicious and well presented-especially the Arancini Good selection of wines at a reasonable price.
Have booked another holiday in Rainbow Bay next year so will certainly be eating here again!
