I hesitated before making my booking because the rate was so affordable I was worried that the resort would be below my expectations. I needn't have worried. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean and welcoming. The balcony was huge, with great views north along the Gold Coast past Surfers Paradise. The pool & spa were spotless and heated to the perfect temperature. The gardens were manicured with a great BBQ area. The location was terrific. Just a few minutes walk to the shops, clubs and restaurants of Coolangatta & Tweeds, and the beach only a block or so away. This was our 5th stay on the Gold Coast and every other resort that we've stayed at has had a medium to high level of traffic noise. All we could hear from our balcony, especially at night, were the waves! As for the managers, Ron & Marilyn, our experience can be best summed up with "they greeted us a our hosts, and farewelled us as our friends." They helped us heaps - recommended an excellent and affordable car rental firm, advised us on the best places to eat & shop, and pointed out the top drives into the hinterland. Their passion for their resort, the region and their guests' comfort was obvious and contributed to what our family of 4 agreed was our best holiday ever!More
