We chanced a visit to the mango tree with no prior knowledge and felt like we'd found a gem. Excellent service from our international student waitress and her colleagues - drinks were offered promptly, orders were taken and food arrived all at a good pace. The food was great - mostly milder northern Indian curries, but enough hot options to satisfy the chilli lover as well. Everything was fresh, with clearly distinguishable flavours. We loved the goat curry and the chicken with fresh fenugreek. Prices were reasonable too, and we'll definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to Wollongong.

We had a very good meal here with nice curries and naan. The lamb was tender and well spiced. Curry chicken was spicy but not too much to enjoy the flavors. Biriyani with vegetables was an excellent match to the other flavors in the meal.

Went here with friends to celebrate a birthday, what a pleasant surprise. Fine Indian food, nice location with views friendly service and nice decor.
As always friends make for a wonderful night, but the food also took centre stage with favorites across many of the dishes we sampled. Goat curry, lamb shank, butter chicken, beef curry, spinach and cheese dish, tandoori chicken and an interesting prawn curry.
The curries really stood out for me, served with perfectly cooked rice and naan bread.

While this appears to be an Indian restaurant it actually caters for everyone including breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, seafood and steaks. I normally judge a place by its coffee and that was pretty good, as was the pork belly and rocket salad. This was the second time I've eaten here and both times were thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely come back.
