We had dinner at My Pantry on a Thursday evening. Initially I was a little put off by the ubiquitous metal chairs that seem to be so common these days in the more trendy restaurants but are really not comfortable. Fortunately there was a choice of funky plastic chairs which were a lot more comfortable. Being lovers of duck we ordered the duck confit each( a whole half of a duck) slow cooked for 4 hours and a glass of Pinot noir from NZ. The duck was absolutely divine, with the meat just falling off the bones and on a bed of sliced potato. We could only eat half the dish and staff kindly packed the rest of our duck into a container for us to enjoy on sour dough sandwiches the following day. We will certainly be back for the best duck we've had in years!
