Owner description: Nan Tien is very different from most tourist attractions because there is so much to offer: the visual delights of grandeur architecture, art & culture including unique exhibitions & festivals, Buddhist festivals, vegetarian culinary delights, educational & healthy life style classes & retreats, accommodation, top class conference and auditorium facilities as well as beautiful gardens & walks. There is also the spiritual and religious experience that is unforgettable and even life changing for some.

“Peace , serenity , and lunch divine”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Loved this peaceful , tranquil place and stayed most of the day . It is very well run , lunch lovely vegetarian meals from two venue choices , one a cafe outdoor in door seating and one with more choice of a mixture of foods. The setting is a place everyone should visit to revitalise the soul and get in touch with who you are . a grounding place . Beautiful l

“Would Recommend”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

We came on a Wednesday so we could not get a guided tour. However, the brochure made it easy to navigate around and had some information. I found the temples very peaceful and interesting. The museum has a bit to see, though it has little if any information. There's also a path which you can go up to get a really good view.

My wife and I come down for a weekend every year, very peaceful. Make sure you have the vegetarian dinner for $10.

Lovely place to visit for a day, you can walk around the grounds or have a lovely vegetarian meal. You can eat at a variety of locations at the temple, i.e. a cafe or buffet

“Love this temple!”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

There is so much to see and admire at this huge, beautiful temple. The gardens are immaculate with beautiful statues scattered around. There is a sense of serenity as soon as you enter this temple. I recommend this as an interesting tourist attraction.
