On our 3rd day of our sydney and south coast holiday, we set off from Darling Harbour, destination Berry. We had plenty of time so we drove the Grand Pacific Drive from the start - travelling through the Royal National Park was pretty stunning & it was a real eye opener to the size of the park - we traveled on a tuesday and had the road to ourselves which was unexpected. It is quite windy in parts but the scenery was spectacular. Then you come out of the National Park to the sea and the amazing Stanwell Tops, with the bridge waiting for you. Great way to see all the coastal towns - some amazing old buildings and some schools with the best playgrounds ever - right on the cliff with the sea as a stunning backdrop - definitely a highlight to the start of our south coast trip.
