“South Coast cruising”

I may be a bit bias because I live in the illawarra but the drive down from Sydney never ceases to take my breath away. The view alone at numerous places along the coast is worth the drive, don't forget your camera, and the Seacliff bridge walk is amazing too..
We have it all on the south coast, the beaches, , national parks and the mountains.

“We love the Illawarra”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

The best views of the sweeping ocean and rocks below, drive across slowly the locals are used to this and if you have time, park and walk across some of the bridge and soak up the scenery and great fresh salty air. Fantastic photos to be had of this fabulous location.

“Perfect Day Outing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

Looking to kill a day before flying out. Got a car and did this drive from the Royal National Park to Woolongong. Stunning scenery, Great forests, beautiful ocean outlooks. Make sure you stop along the way and go for a walk in the many places you can. Particularly at the SeaCliff Bridge.

“A Great Drive especially on a sunny day!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is a lovely drive for a sunny sunday afternoon. Or any day really, but the ocean looks beautiful on a lovely sunny day. There are plenty of small coffee shops to stop at along the beach areas. The Wollongong beaches are beautiful and not crowded like the city beaches. The southern part of the drive down through Kiama and towards nowra is beautiful too. Lovely gree country side. It is a great part of the state. I live local and we say that we are "Sydney's best kept secret' - so don't tell anyone how good it is down here!
