“Unique & sincere”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

This is a very relaxing place, an lovely old house the interior is adorned with Arts including exhibitions. The cafe is right near the Manning River with ample parking.
The feel is very earthy and calming. Its obvious that this is a community hub.
Theres space for the kids to play in the secure yard. Ive really good time just reading and eating solo and forgetting the world outside for a moment. Ive also had some very relaxed business meetings here as there are various rooms and areas available, including outdoor.
There is a good selection of local food available to take home.
The meals are very sincere and good value, its obvious the people in the kitchen put a lot of love into their work.
I would highly recommend this cafe to tourists seeking a bit of local wholefood culture and arts. But also locals who haven't experienced the benchmark in Taree.

“Lovely old purple cafe/house with peaceful river views”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

If you are looking for a cafe that is laid back , caters for Low GI and Gluten free whole food and has great coffee then give this a try. Lovely old house with a great feel and a courtyard looking out over the Manning river. You cant miss the purple house as its first on the left as you come off the Martin bridge as you come into Taree. To get to the cafe you have to go to the traffic lights , turn left and then after a couple of hundred metres turn left again near the big church and follow the road down to the cafe. Open Thursday Friday and Saturday. Occasionaly has accoustic live music.
