“Expensive but good”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

A bit pricey but tasty and the coffee was great. Menu was varied and the staff attentive. Having lunch in the middle of a rainforest is just enjoyable.

“Superb food”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Whether you visit the rainforest walk or not, do take time to visit the cafe - the food is excellent - well balanced, good selection from sandiwches to pasta to salads. The cakes are home made and delicious - we had the orange poppy seed cake which was the best we had ever had. Coffee great too.

We visited for coffee and cake and went back with friends for lunch.

“Great walk and nice cakes”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

For 16 dolllars family ticket you get a nice walk. Cafe is great for coffee and cakes. Not much to choose from for lunch. I had chicken, avocado and rocket sandwich but it was more like rocket sandwich with chicken dressing. Fish and chips are nice but for $17.00 really overpriced. Across the road they sell fish and chips for 9 dollars...Go for a walk, have a cake and coffee and find lunch somewhere else.

“Would have loved to try more”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

Only had a quick stop here for a few fresh juices and cake. All was really good and fresh. While waiting seen some of the food come out which made us nearly have a 2nd breakfast but just
stuck with our initial juice and cake.

Great setting in the peaceful rainforest grounds. Whether a relaxing bit to eat or just cake and coffee im sure you will find it a nice place to chill out.

Would love to return to try more.

“twice bitten!!”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

After an average experience due to slow service some time ago, decided to give it another try. Three of us walked in to a less than half full cafe and on direction, sat at a table inside. Five minutes later, another couple sat at the table next to us and had service within two minutes and their order taken, we were still waiting. We eventually got service, I ordered the lamb & cous cous salad for $20 and my friends ordered a gourmet chicken & avacado sandwich. The salad arrived on a grotty looking wooden plate and consisted of warm lettuce, cous cous, and six small fatty shards of lamb pulled off a shank bone. Very dissappointing and lacked flavour. My friends' "gourmet" sandwich was anything but. Some dry chicken and avo slapped between two slices of bread for $7.50!! To top it off, a lady on an outside table had a hot coffee split in lap by the waitress, and after stripping to her underwear and her husband pouring cold water on her leg to ease the scalding were offered nothing else but a towel to dry her. They even had the hide to charge her for their scones!! I am a local and there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity who offer far better service and food for cheaper prices. I for one will never be back.
