“Always a pleasure at LV's!”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

I come to this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner regularly. I always leave satisfied and have not found one fault yet. I generally find a favourite meal where I eat, but I can't possibly decide when I enjoy everything that I try off the menu. I can't wait to see what Todd comes up with next.

“Great lunch spot”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We've eaten at LV's twice now, most recently in January 2013. We find it a great spot for lunch with our kids. The place has lovely views over the water if you sit near the front. The menu is short but good, and very well priced. Both our meals have been lunch, but next time we'll try dinner there. Wine list is basic, but you can grab a good quaffer for lunch, and it doesnt cost the earth. We noticed how clean and tidy the kitchen and kitchen staff were which is a pleasant change to some places. Staff were attenntive and friendly. Kids meals were great, and milkshakes were offered for just $4! Biggest disappointment was that the coffee machine was turned off before our meal was over - and we know they make good coffee. That was at 2:30pm so maybe a little early?

“Good service & food to match”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Wife & I are locals & always on the lookout for a restaurant we'd enjoy & return to. Lv's is such a place. The service the young waitress gave was very good, discreet & helpful. Our entrees & mains were cooked to perfection, was disappointed with the bean salad side dish seemed it was just slapped into the bowl without much effort put in. & the affogato was to die for. Overall we were quite impressed, a little pricey, but it is THAT time of year & we will return.

“Really good coffee, food has potential.”
Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

Coffee was really really good here but after having the big breakfast you can see faults. The baked beans had no seasoning and the sausage was mushy. The sourdough was very sweet and had a crumbly texture, it was more like eating A dry cake. These things should be picked up on and recipes should be modified. The pancakes were great though. Passionfruit caramel was very tasty. Ill be back because the coffee was as good as it gets in port.
