Always try to stay here as it’s so well located in the heart of Port and very good value.
The rooms are spacious and kept in immaculate order by the extremely efficient and attentive cleaning staff.
The water views of the Hastings River and the dolphins in the water gliding by are most impressive
Breakfast service staff are very helpful but the food can look dry and unappetising if you re not in early.

Room tip: Ask for a room with the best water views. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed here for one night with my partner and what a disappointment! Payed $180 for a “ deluxe room with water views “. The water views were the only good thing about the stay. The room itself didn’t have window you could open, didn’t have a exhaust fan, shower was very old, tv didn’t work and overall the apartment was dirty.
However, the staff were friendly and the pool area was nice.

Overall a very disappointed stay and I will not be returning.

Beautiful views of the hastings river, nothing is a problem. Services excellent , Weddings are catered for with the utmost care and professional. I am a Florist and delivering flowers, to Waters Edge, for Weddings and Functions. The owners and staff are very professional and personal to every detail. If I was to be married, I wouldn't have to think about my choice for Reception.

We recently booked a "deluxe" twin room for a Sunday night stay. We were allocated room number 102 - not exactly sure what extra we received for the "deluxe" tag, as the room was a little dated and quite basic. However, although not a large room it was clean and comfy and we did look over the pool area. All soap, shampoo etc was provided via wall mounted pump packs. The Waters Edge has a nice inside bar area, and a large outside area where you can indulge in pre-dinner drinks and watch the kids play in a fully fenced play area or swim in the pool. Unfortunately, the on site restaurant was not open being a Sunday night so we found ourselves at the Westport Club for a reasonable dinner which was a leisurely 5 minute stroll down the road. The motel also faces onto the river and board walk which you can follow along the river and walk to town in around 10 minutes. There is no undercover parking, so be prepared to leave your vehicle exposed to the elements. Although nothing flash, this motel is clean, comfy and honest.

What a lovely clean motel. Room spacious, the friday even acoustic session was lovely with the amazing young guy! Wish the snacks were available saturdays too. Lovely staff even josh behind the bar, and the man on for the breakfast buffet. That buffet was lovely also.
Only downfall was the wifi. Dropped out constantly and couldnt hold internet in our room.
We shall return again for the fabulous coastal walk!
Thank you
