“Gorgeous food, ambience and service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

We spent some time in Port Macquarie recently and stumbled across this little ripper. Away from the hustle and bustle of a busy town Centre, the staff were warm and welcoming, views were lovely, atmosphere relaxed and casual. The quality and price of the food was the icing on the cake! So much to choose from and what we were served was top shelf. Will most definitely be back. If you enjoy a variety of food then this restaurant is a must.

“Great spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

This restaurant is in a great spot to have dinner and see the waves. The damper was so delicious and my steak was cooked to perfection. The restaurant seemed to have a bit of an Aussie theme which is fantastic. My waitress was one of the nicest I've ever had. I definitely recommend this restaurant

“What a great find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

Hidden away in the back of the El Paso motel this restaurant is fabulous. The meals were great - gorgeous steak cooked exactly as we ordered it and the crocodile spring rolls were amazing. It's unique decor works well but the balcony is the winner. The view is amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Wished we had realised they did breakfast earlier in our holiday as the balcony would be the best spot to sit over a lazy cup of coffee. We'll definitely be back to this little gem next time we are in Port Macquarie.

“Good food but expensive off what it is”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

We went here on our last night in port Macquarie and the food was nice . I had the taste of Africa and my bf had the special lamb shank. I think it was nice but the price was too much for what it was really. The kangaroo and Emu pie we had for starters was so lovely I think id just like them to enlarge it and have it for a main! We had the chocolate cake for desert which was delish!!! In total the bill came to $150 which compared to other places which we preferred was too expensive for what we actually got. The actual restaurant did seem a little worn down as well. To end on a positive..the staff were so nice and friendly!

“Average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013

We decided to have dinner at this restaurant because of the good reviews and ranking on Tripadvisor. However we found the menu unexciting with no real theme. The food tasted fine, but nothing amazing. The decor is dated and is in need of an upgrade. The view is ok. Friendly service. Overall very average restaurant, which is over ranked on Tripadvisor.
