Reasonable price, friendly service, great location for breakfast, lunch or dinner over looking the water. Staff very attentive and on the ball. Our breakfast experience on 12-11-13 was quite good.
But eggs Benedict's served with only one slice of toast could improve and should be served with two slices of bread/ toast to match the two poached eggs on offer.

Stopped by Fig for breakfast while staying in Port. I've been here before for the Richard Clapton and Ian Moss shows and the food was terrific with a set menu.
Today we ordered coffees, healthy breaky and toasted BLT. It was great tasting and the view from the outside tables overlooking the town green is magic. We'll be back.

We were accustomed to service being slower in Aus than the US, which isn't a bad thing, so that didn't bother us. The setting, looking out over Town Green and a nice playground where our 6 y/o grandson entertained himself, is stellar. We found the staff very pleasant and the food was creative and excellent.

I was umm and ahhing about DIY or eat out and as the IGA didn't open until 8 and FIG was open at 7.30 i thought OK we can eat and be out in reasonable time. Oh what a mistake I made. We ordered at just after 7.30 and got 2 juices out of a plastic bottle ($9) and half a glass of ice seriously??

Then the wait began..... and i watched the chef start making salads etc???? WT???

And some more waiting

At 7.55am I went into enquire and saw the eggs benny and healthy breakfast go up on the pass and the bell ring.... 10 minutes later the meals graced our table... COLD! There were a row of meals on the counter and I had watched the chef do his mis en place for lunch in the previous 20+ minutes. Sorry...FAIL...

Never tasted the coffee. I wasn't willing to give them any more $$$

Seriously if they had no intention of serving breakfast before 8am then they should have at least told us.

The coffee shop next to the bike shop at least said we had a 20 minute wait. Should have gone there at 7.10am instead.

Pity becuase the bar looked good the location is great BUT never will I suggest even thinking about it

In a word.... nah can't say that on TA
