We arrived late, at around 8:45pm after a long day travelling, and asked if the kitchen was still open. Luckily they said yes, but that we would need to go straight to main course. Although I had been looking forward to trying one of the delicious starters - this really wasn't a problem, and we were happy to get a table!
We both ordered the duck which was delicious. The pairing with the berlotti beans to me, was a little off, and the beans actually overtook the flavour of the duck. However on it's own, or with the mushrooms or beetroot accompaniment, it was great.
Followed the duck with an amazing rum and raisin creme brulee and all with a nice bottle of wine - the service was excellent, and the restaurant had a really nice atmostphere.
