Arrived in Hunter Valley and looked for a relaxed place to have dinner with good food. Found it at Harrigans! Service was great - waitresses were friendly, bar staff initiated conversation. Started with sweet chilli & cheese bread. Main course (lamb shanks, rump steak) were presented well. Generous portions noticed with all meals served to all patrons. Lamb shanks were beautifully cooked - fell apart from the bone, jus was tasty and sides & veges were a great complement. Steak was cooked to order, although grill could have been slightly hotter to better cook the outside. Dessert (chocolate pudding) was phenomenal. Beautiful with a lovely latte. Price was reasonable for the Hunter Valley. Ended up spending $130 for 3 course meal for two. Would definitely come back.
