As soon as you walk up to the front door you are greeted by the friendly staff. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and the candles at the tables and dim lighting adds to the ambience.
We decided to have 3 courses and were not disappointed. I had the scallops which were cooked perfectly while my partner had the beetroot which was tasty, just be aware that the wasabi can be quiet hot if your not used to that type of thing .
Next course I had the venison which was cooked med rare and was so tender. my only complaint would be it was served with 3 types of cabbage, the pickled cabbage was a bit too much for me. My partner had the chicken which was delicious .
Lastly we had desert. Which we didn't really need. The creme brûlée was a bit too rich it looked amazing but the fondant was to die for . Firm on the outside and the inside just oozed out once I took the first bite.
