My wife and I went for a Saturday lunch on the entertainment card, and read mixed reviews on T/P before booking. We had a nice seat next to the window which looks over some dry paddocks. We both wanted the eye fillet, but thought it would be nice to order the lamb rump to compare. Fillet came with sliced potatoe and a tomatoe relise topping with a dark jus and spinach leaves. The fillet was exceptional, cooked to perfection and a lovely thick cut. My Lamp Rump was a similar size but the cut didnt match up to the fillet as it had sinuous strains through the meat and the taste was average. It came with parmigiana polenta with a lovely tomatoe jus with small baked tomatoes and again spinach leaves. The waitresses were ok but general table service was average. The worst thing about the restaurant is the ambiance. Combine a tiled floor with a room of 20 guests and you can hardly hear yourself speak. A revamp is needed.

We went for valentines day. I expec ted alot better after we have been told by plenty of locals (as we are) that it was fantastic. My steak was leather. My garlic prawns were ok- but what is with the bread roll soaked in garlic butter as a component of the dish?

My partner had fish that was beautiful on a bed of risotto that was not.

Service was poor. Entree's were good but then wait between entree and main was way too long. Eventually, after the chef repeatedly ringing the bell for a waiter/waitress, someone walked in and took our food. My partner and i were sitting close to the kitchen and thought- "please dont let that be our dinner sitting there!".

Bill was $150 for 2 entree and 2 main and 2 soft drink. we were going to share a dessert and have coffee but couldnt be botherred waiting.

Sad end to meal. we love Muse and Molines- so we dont mind paying for good food. This was expensive for what we got and average.

Maybe it was an off night, but we were underwhelmed. The restaurant was not overly busy, but service was incredibly slow. One couple near us waited well over an hour for their entree. The bisque was thin, but duck overcooked. On the positives the cheese was yummy!!!
Take $10 off the price of the mains, and it would be more indicative of the quality.

Food was great as was the service. Can be a little noisy during peak times but the food and the view made it memorable.

We had scallops & prawns for entree's, then seared steak(yum) prawn linguine(Needed salt) followed by lemon tart and husband had a cup with cream and icecream with berries on top then a capaccino merangue on top of that with coffee/vanilla icecream on that then covered in melted chocolate with a hard large piece of choc sail stuck in the icecream with more berries and strawberry on the side. My husband said it was THE BEST DESERT he had ever had and it looked fab. Suggest you BYO as bottles start at $35 and meals are fairly pricey to start with but it was definately worth it. Loved it
