During a long weekend stay in the Hunter Valley we booked this restaurant at late notice, and so glad we did. The food was delicious and the service speedy and attentive. We had the two course meal, both choosing the soft shell crab for entree, which was YUM!! I followed this with the veal and my husband the pork belly. Both mains were very tasty. Two courses were sufficient, so we opted not to have dessert even though the dessert menu sounded just as nice. Good selection of wines with a number of local wines. Overall a very enjoyable evening and I would definitely return to Restaurant Botanica.
