The two fat blokes sell amazing food and relishes etc, the balsamic onions are delightful and accompany the cheese selection chosen, they even have cooler bags on site to purchase and come with free ice blocks. My husband and I had an amazing picnic with the items, accompanied by the wine bought next door. If you are in the area, this place is not to be missed!!

We went to this restaurant based on great reviews but were disappointed on two separate occasions. The first instance we went to buy small goods, cheese and breads for a picnic in the park but found several rolls and twists were mouldy. This could be excused but the attitude of the staff was that of no surprise. No apology or shame so we questioned the freshness of the other items and then went for lunch somewhere else. We tried again for breakfast several months later and I was lured in by the "black forest bacon" and eggs (simple tastes). The bacon was TERRIBLE. I wouldn't even know how to cook bacon to make it that bad. Cardboardy and super greasy. I thought I would wait to see if anyone asked how the meal was as I left ALL the bacon, but no one did so we have now just written this venue off.

This is a lovely little cafe in a quiet garden setting, albeit adjacent to De Iulliis winery.
Great wholesome cafe food with friendly service. Loved the baby burgers on brioche and the cheese platter was enormous. Good choice of beer and wine too.

A little cottage on the grounds of de illious wines. Country German feel with great portion sizes. Nice friendly staff.
Have the cheese plate for 1 - it feeds 2. A great share starter.
There is outdoor seating and on the Saturday we were there, there was a great guitarist playing on the lawn.

We decided to come here for lunch on an overcast / showery day. As the outside tables were out of action, it took a while to be seated, and the service was a bit slow.
Overall however, the food and drinks were fine.
