My boyfriend and I just returned for a beautiful weekend getaway in the Hunter Valley and we choose Wine Country Villas to stay in.

The pictures do not do it justice. Everything from the modern layout, stylish furniture and scenic views were perfect. We especially enjoyed the fireplace as we had some chilly nights! The breakfast is all included and super generous and the location was right in the middle of all the must see wineries, restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay again.

They are central to everything Hunter but also very quiet. Rooms are modern and well set up. Steve was very accommodating and the whole process was easy. Have stayed in a few places around the valley but these villas are the top of the list now.

Wine Country Villas has the perfect location so that is really a great start. Close to most of the vineyards and restaurants that are a MUST for a great Hunter experience. The villas are newly refurbished, clean, comfy and beautifully appointed. The STOCK the fridge with everything you need for a great brekky. The view is great, the fireplace warm and romantic.

The owners are friendly and helpful but not in your face. I can't recommend staying here enough. Loved it.

My fiancé and I ended up extending our visit by a night because we were having such a lovely time.
The villas are modernly furnished with beautiful views from the deck and even lying in bed.
The kitchen was well stocked and we were given a very generous breakfast basket.
Excellent location for wine tasting and dining out.
I recommend this as 'the place to stay' in Pokolbin. Will definitely be back.

Our stay at wine country villas was lovely, the location was excellent and in close proximity to some of the wineries including Brokenwood, Peterson house ( a must visit !)
On arrival the fridge was packed full of breakfast goodies. The proprietors where available on site to assist should we have encountered any difficulties. However the settling in procedure was seamless and the villa was extremely clean and welcoming.
A nice BBQ on the deck to watch to sun go down was a great way to end the day. Due to its intimate size it was a peaceful and tranquil environment to return to after a busy day wine tasting.
