This hotel is perfectly located as a centre point to the Hunter Valley wineries. It is unobtrusive and is walking distance to the Hunter Valley Gardens (which we got free entry to as we were staying at the hotel). The steakhouse restaurant was excellent and we dined twice for dinner which we usually do not do.

Fantastic location, stayed overnght while driving from Melbourne to Brisbane, worth the extra time driving off the highway, lovery large room with great shower recess, balcony overlooking beautiful spa and pool area. Accessible to most rooms. Walking distance to cellar doors and fine dining. Definately stay longer next time and partake in a winery tour. Close to touristy shopping areas,. Buy food and supplies in town if arriving late, nearby supermarket basic and closes early. Take away food expensive.

Had 3 nights here and it was very enjoyable. Good room with fireplace and great service from staff. Pool area fantastic and the hottest sauna I have ever been in. Would stay again for sure and really good value for money.
