I stayed here for 2 days while at a conference. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The bathroom lovely. We were near the pool which was what I wanted. The main entry door is card accessed as are most hotels these days. If on a ground floor room you can park right at your door. On the other side of the room was a sliding door to a private sitting area (balcony for 1st floor guests). The sitting area opened out to the gardens and pool area. This area was a delight. The problem was you do not get a key to lock your door if you want to walk to the pool and restaurant this way. You have to walk out the front way and walk around to the pool. It would be more ideal to be able to lock the sliding screen door allowing security for the room while you are out. I would not eat at the restaurant as ours and many people who have commented on the restaurant have been a poor experience. Other then that the location and hotel itself are top notch

Room Tip: ask for a ground floor room near the pool

This is a very good resort right in the middle of the Hunter Valley. You can walk to five wineries and it is right next to the beautiful gardens that are worth a visit.

Rooms are great value with really nice manicured gardens surrounding them.

Excellent breakfast with typically lousy resort coffee.

tip Go down the road to Tempus 2 and check out the Smelly cheese place and get supplies of cheese and antipasto for a picnic. Also try a Tuk Tuk burger at Tuk Tuk burgers. They have the best gourmet burgers in the known universe.

I will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Pick a room near the pool

I've stayed there for two nights this year.
Hotel room was clean.
Friendly room services.
Price is about average in the area.
Food is great and buffet breakfast is above expectation but a little bit pricy.

Enjoyed two night stay in a king rm with a courtyard
It was very comfortable
Lounge is nice but couldn't see the tv from it
Why do hotels only supply one luggage stand when there are two people staying in the rm
Ate in the dining rm .the food was nice but not exceptional
Breakfast was good as it usually is in an Accor hotels
Room service was good and delivered with a smile
The staff were young very polite and went out of there way to be helpful

We stayed here a while ago (Winter 2012), but fondly remember the trip and accommodation here. We were upgraded upon arrival to a room with an atrium bathroom - absolutely stunning, and was perfect while we stayed there in winter. Great location to get to all the wineries, Gardens and Pokolbin Village - have recommended friends and family stay here for our wedding.
