The most relaxing weekend with great service, great food and great accommodation. Beautiful location, very quiet. Comfortable rooms, great restaurant. But most of all helpful and friendly staff. Good advice to local attractions.

Unfortunately we only stayed the single night this time. And on a night Botanica was closed.
This was our 3rd time staying here, as always the staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean. The setting is perfect for a romantic get away. Will be back in the winter to enjoy the fireplace and Botanica!

Room Tip: Room 6, larger then others. Good view out the front and back.

My wife and I spent four days at the resort and highly recommend the experience to anyone interested in experiencing the beauty of hunter valley from a luxurious resort. The staff is incredible friendly, they bring wine and fun drinks to your room every night, serve a very tasty vineyard breakfast every morning with breathtaking views of the vineyard and keep a very clean property. I especially thought the fact that kangaroos hang around the property was neat since we had never seen them before.

You will be very happy with your choice to stay here.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Really enjoyed the dinner - breakfasts - amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the lovely room and surrounds. Would love to come back. Thought the mini bar idea was very thoughtful.

My wife and I stayed at Vineyards Estate on the weekend of the 23rd of February 2014, both as a birthday getaway and to attend the Springsteen concert at the nearby Hope Estate Winery. We have stayed at Spicers group properties before but this was our first stay at Vineyards. This property easily lives up to the reputation of the Spicers group and it would be difficult to find a reason to stay anywhere else in the Hunter. It's a short 15-20 minute trip to Hope Estate, so it is a perfect venue for those attending concerts. We stayed in one of the newer spa suites, upstairs with a private balcony overlooking the grape vines. The experience was flawless from start to finish, with a phone call en-route to organise a cheese and wine platter due to a late arrival - if travelling from Queensland, don't use the Pacific Motorway unless you want 400+ k's of roadworks and speed cameras! The complimentary bubbles on arrival certainly took the edge off the trip. Last minute changes to a surprise champagne breakfast was no trouble, the management and staff take all requests in their stride and are fantastic. The room is beautiful, well appointed and the bed the equal of any we've slept on. The linens are fresh and crisp and even in February, you can have the fire chugging away to create the right mood. Breakfast can be delivered to your balcony and is a great start to your day. The standout for us was Restaurant Botantica and our hostess, Christie (apologies if we got the spelling wrong). The food was stunning, local and organic, with herbs and vegetables from their own garden. Don't get too friendly with the pigs...it's not cool to know the name of your food! The after dinner wander through the vineyard with a cognac and cigar...how do you top that? Spa Anise was up to their usual high standard. There were no negatives and this trip reinforced our already high opinion of the Spicers Group. We will stay again at any Spicers and have already recommended Vineyards to our friends.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the upstairs Spa suites - private balcony and just that little bit more secluded. Eas...
