A well organised and informative tour. We had only 6 visitors and BJ was a knowledgeable and interesting guide. The wineries we visited had staff who were well able to explain the region and the wines. The food pairing was well done and a great opportunity for folks from a non-wine region to expand our knowledge and palate.

Two friends and I went on a half day afternoon tour with Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Tours. We had the an awesome day. Our tour guide Robyn was so lovely and engaged with everyone and made the trip very fun! Enjoyed amazing wines and delicious cheeses! All round an excellent experience!

I am a return customer to the tour, however I noted a considerable difference in my experiences. Groups of 12 allow for an intimate and fun tour at the different wineries. However upon visiting the Two Fat Blokes deli, our group more than doubled. We were rushed through a selection of 9 wines and cheeses and were seated in an odd L-shaped formation which created a lot of competing noises. We were told from the onset we were going to be rushed so they had enough time to do pick-ups for the afternoon tour. By the time they explained a wine and cheese, before we could savour it, staff were rushing to pour the next wine. It was not relaxing and a very frantic finish to an otherwise lovely tour.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry we didn't live up to your expectations, especially since you were a repeat cutsomer. We always cap the number of people attending our cheese & wine experience to 20 people. And yes that means that sometime we have 2 groups together. If for some reason or another the group is running a bit behind time, we do need to speed up the pace a bit, but, I am not aware of any instances where people were rushed and did not get to finish their wine before the next one was poured. When you book for a half day tour, that's unfortunate the amount of time we have available and there is little time to waste 'valuable drinking time'.

Mark was our Driver with Two Fat Blokes, and he was amazing!! The best way to get out and see the Hunter Valley. We Booked a full day tour, we did 5 different tastings in 5 areas of the Hunter as well as to top the afternoon off a tour of a local brewery. I must say this experience for us was outstanding!! The highlight for us was the cheese and wine match tasting at the two fat blokes cafe!! I highly recommend this! Thanks again Mark - for an amazing day!!

Fantastic day trip with friendly staff and a delightful selection of Wineries. Was delightful and very comfortable way to see the Hunter Valley. Peter was delightful and gave us some wonderful pointers for the rest of our stay. 10/10 would recommend.
