Owner description: Unique, luxury full or 1/2 day tours. 2- 14 guests only. By limiting our tours to max 14 guests we have access to small family-owned wineries that have excellent wines but do not take bigger groups. Pickup from Hunter Valley only in luxury vehicles. My wife's ancestors planted some of the first vines in the Hunter Valley in 1853 and just never left. We have looked after visitors to our region since 1998. In 2008 we added some tours to our business to the delight of many guests. We offer 5 different tours to choose from. Or we can tailor a tour to suit your needs. Our aim is to show our guests great food, great wine and have loads of fun. Educational, yet light-hearted. Our tours are unique, over time, we have build up trust with local chefs and (boutique) winemakers, who all offer a personalised experience. Because we only have a small number of guests on our tours we can be flexible and tailor our tours to suit you. We are the preferred tour partner for many accommodation places.
Useful Information: Bathroom facilities, Stairs / elevator, Wheelchair access

A well organised and informative tour. We had only 6 visitors and BJ was a knowledgeable and interesting guide. The wineries we visited had staff who were well able to explain the region and the wines. The food pairing was well done and a great opportunity for folks from a non-wine region to expand our knowledge and palate.

I am a return customer to the tour, however I noted a considerable difference in my experiences. Groups of 12 allow for an intimate and fun tour at the different wineries. However upon visiting the Two Fat Blokes deli, our group more than doubled. We were rushed through a selection of 9 wines and cheeses and were seated in an odd L-shaped formation which created a lot of competing noises. We were told from the onset we were going to be rushed so they had enough time to do pick-ups for the afternoon tour. By the time they explained a wine and cheese, before we could savour it, staff were rushing to pour the next wine. It was not relaxing and a very frantic finish to an otherwise lovely tour.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry we didn't live up to your expectations, especially since you were a repeat cutsomer. We always cap the number of people attending our cheese & wine experience to 20 people. And yes that means that sometime we have 2 groups together. If for some reason or another the group is running a bit behind time, we do need to speed up the pace a bit, but, I am not aware of any instances where people were rushed and did not get to finish their wine before the next one was poured. When you book for a half day tour, that's unfortunate the amount of time we have available and there is little time to waste 'valuable drinking time'.

Fantastic day trip with friendly staff and a delightful selection of Wineries. Was delightful and very comfortable way to see the Hunter Valley. Peter was delightful and gave us some wonderful pointers for the rest of our stay. 10/10 would recommend.
