We dined here as on a Tuesday night in the vineyards as the options were limited. We ordered the 3 course Advantage Plus menu. The fact that you cannot order from the main menu to obtain your Accor discount conveys a negative message. The food was mixed. The initial breads were good and one of the desserts was fine. The fillet mignon itself was a nice piece of meat....but they need to dish it will proper vegetables....not just fries. That is not a good look nor the taste you want. So overall it wasn't too bad but a bit hit & miss with the dishes. The staff are young & I get the impression they need to have someone more senior in charge to make sure it is run more professionally. For instance they never came to see us in the waiting area when our table was ready after an initial 30 minute wait. Another review stated that this place is not quite the standard for the prices charged. I think that is an accurate assessment.

We went there in anticipation of a great steak and ended up very dissapointed. We thought that a great steak in the hunter , how could we go wrong, well unfortunately we asked for a rare steak, we like it pink almost bloody, what we got was a rare blue steak, we just couldnt eat it, and we waited so long for it to come we just ate what we could and ate the vegies and decided that was one of the most dissapointing meals we ever had in the hunter valley, we will never go there again, if you are eating in a seafood restaurant and ask for a steak you may not get what you ask for, but in a steakhouse you ask for a steak and you get one that isnt cooked., well I guess the chef mustve been an apprentice.
We did tell the waitress, she just said sorry, So I thought no point pressing the point just never go back there again.

Pre-dinner drinks in front of the fire was great, big comfortable chairs and lots of seating. On a down side lots of kids staying which made it a bit noisy.

Stopped here for late lunch/early dinner on 7 July 2012. Entrees of baked ricotta cake and pork belly roast were very small, and perhaps overpriced. The sirloin steaks ordered as mains were lovely (HOWEVER: advertised as wagyu, yet didn't taste like they were wagyu)...

The service was poor, we booked and they still didnt get it right. Was mistake after mistake from the wine to the meals. The food was so average yet the price was a la carte.
