“Stunning gardens”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

As this was our second visit in a year to these beautiful gardens, we took the train, as we had extensively walked the whole garden last time. It is just simply superb and is a credit to those who set it up and the hard working gardeners who maintain it. Divided into smaller "rooms", all of which are different to the next, one can see Italian, French, Asian, Indian etc. and the childrens garden is a delight. Definitely worth a visit whether a garden lover or not.

“Don't forget the Camera”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

What a relaxing morning wandering around these beautiful gardens. We were a bit 'put off' by the entry price, however felt it was great value once we set foot inside. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and got some great pictures of ourselves with amazing backdrops. The different themes for each area were fantastic and we came away with a few ideas for our backyard too. Make sure in the storybook garden to sit up on the big red chair and have your photo taken. Don't forget to sit next to Humpty Dumpty too. A folding camera tripod would be a great advantage if wanting to take 'selfies'. Allow about 3 - 4 hours to wander through.

“Overpriced and too little shade on a really hot day”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

It's a massive garden and relatively well kept. However, there was very little information on the display, plants and flowers. It was extremely hot Spring day we chose to go and that made the kids a little cranky.

Storybook garden needs an upgrade, the figurines looked like they haven't been touched in the last 10 years. It does allow for some lovely pictures with the kids despite the lack of maintenance.
