Elfin Hill Cabins are nestled amongst some of the finest Hunter Valley vineyards and provide a peaceful retreat after day of wine and cheese tasting.

The communal kitchen and entertainment area offered everything any traveller may require, and more; table tennis, books, music, etc., but the best bit is the exquisite beauty of the surrounding bushland beyond the floor to ceiling windows....

Our obliging host, Marie, was so kind and helpful and pointed us in the direction of some some fabulous local wine producers which were well worth the visit!

We stayed there for 1 night with small baby going north from Sydney.
Great room, great brakfast at the terrace close to the pool, with great view over the wineries.
If you are there that the best place you may have.
Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed in the studio cottage and can't say enough about the quality of the unit, the beauty of the property and the friendliness of the hosts. Breakfast served to us in our cottage was delightful. The studio gave us the room to bring back wine and cheese from our day trekking to the wineries; didn't even need to go to a restaurant for dinner. We were pleased that we had opted for the higher price cottage over the standard rooms. It was too cold to use the pool but we did play some ping pong in the large lounge area.

Three of us stayed here the night of April 19. We were going to Tempus Two to see Matchbox Twenty and this look like a good compromise between the wineries and Cessnock. It is a lovely little place and the owner, Marie, could not have been more helpful. The rooms are basic but well appointed. We had 3 stay in one room and noticed most other rooms have 4 guest beds so the number of occupants can be high for the 6 cabins.
Marie told us of a newer section which sleeps 4 and is totally self contained, away from the other cabins however we couldn't see it as it was occupied. It is more private than the basic cabins which are in a strip and have common walls. Noise was not really an issue although the walkway is in front of the rooms.

The light breakfast was good and the available for purchase breakfast good value.

would definately look to stay here again.

This is the first review written for Elfin Hill, thank you for taking the time to do this. Now many years later we have totally upgraded and revamped. No longer walk up and down the path in front of the rooms, the entrance is from the rear and each room now has a lovely veranda with amazing views.
