I have been to this high point with friends. The place was covered with snow. My iPhone stoped working as it was very cold.

Lovely bush-land spot and great views but the 30 minute return climb is rough at times for the elderly and those with poor mobility. Most of the steps are made of wood frames with an earth base. Bird calls, nice trees and wildflowers made it attractive.

I like the bit of bushland you walk through to get to the Pinnacles as well as the view when you get there. Lots of birds calling and a cross section of different trees. The path is rough but well made along most of the length with stone slab stairs. It will be taxing for anyone with poor fitness or mobility. Take binoculars if you have them. You will be able to see different activities going on in various agricultural plots including vineyards.

Trip Advisor was showing the wrong location for The Pinnacles. I have adjusted this (subject to approval). If in doubt, mapping services have the correct location shown.

Between wineries we walked up this hill for a marvelous 230 degree view of the whole region. Not challenging if you have average fitness but there are a few steps.

It's a 30 min round trip walk, and well worth the steps up to the top. We walked up for sunset, which wasn't quite as spectacular as hoped, but it was a great view and well worth the walk.
