My husband asked it the prawns for the meal he wanted to order were "local" (Australian), & was told they were not, (they were imported from Asia) so he decided to have the fish & chip meal & asked what the fish was in the 'fish and chip meal', to be told it was Basa. This is an imported freshwater fish from Asia, & is catfish from the rivers (or canals) which we NEVER buy.He ended up choosing not to eat fish (and this is a seafood restaurant!). The Manager came out to discuss our displeasure/diaappointment with the menu, & told us that 80% of the fish in the restaurant is 'local'. They also have a fresh fish counter & a takeaway fish shop attached to their restaurant, so we were very disappointed, and feel that this is not good enough for a fish restaurant, which we beleive should have 100% local fish. If they choose to have 20% imported fish from Asia on their menu, they need to state the origin of the fish on their menu.
