Visiting from the UK my parents took me to Paymasters as they claim it was their favourite place. I must say I was not disappointed.

The Duck liver starter was fantastic and rich, the veal special of the day was delicious as was the risotto on which it lay and their deconstructed take on a Banoffee Cheesecake was clever and sweet without being sickly.

Not the cheapest of restaurants but for the quality of the food and the rustic ambience of the resturant, I can see why it is my Parents' favourite. A resturant experience on par with any I've had in the UK.

Thank you Paymasters for making our Wedding Anniversaries and Birthday celebrations so much more special. The food is consistently outstanding (can not go past the Baked Camembert and Newcastle's finest Garlic Prawns). The service is warm and friendly. We sincerely feel like we are part of the family. We would highly recommend Paymasters for any special occasion, romantic rendezvous or sneaky monday night dinner to relieve your monday-itis :)

Looking forward to our next visit again soon.

Great food great service. Very impressed with paymasters the food wonderful very good wine list.We were seated upstairs on the balcony and the views were great. We enjoyed our meal so much we came back next morning and had a great breakfast with plenty of options excellent coffee not to mention the lovely freshly squeezed juices. The owner served us for breakfast and is very warm and friendly also evident is the pride and passion shown with all his staff. Can't wait to come back, pity we live in Bathurst.

Have been looking forward to coming for the first time for a long time. Must have got them on an off night - have only heard great things about this restaurant. Won't say too much negative as I'm sure this was uncharacteristic for them, but majority left disappointed. I expected a lot more from both front of house and kitchen. Very slow and missed the mark unfortunately.

With great reviews for brunch I thought Paymasters was the place to take a visiting family member from Melbourne...we had to ask for drinks service and the service was generally quite slow. Meals were overpriced for the size and inattentive staff made for a very ordinary visit. We won't be back...restrooms ordinary and staff couldn't be bothered keeping it well stocked. Disappointed.
