super friendly service and even though we were soaked to the skin after running 10kms the last 4 in the rain they welcomed us. The food as always was wonderful but the coffee today was particularly superb!! I have to have another or maybe that's because I was cold and had just run 10ks :)

This cafe is just amazing. I go there every single morning for coffee and it is always fantastic.
The food is also great! I am the biggest dog lover and Bear just makes the whole cafe even better.
The little cookies by the front counter are also to die for! They look amazing and taste even better!

Great combination of Japanese & Aussie food at reasonable prices.Coffee is good as is the egg & bacon roll with chilli sauce. Unique decor, very friendly vibe and staff. Definitely worth a visit!

I had a green tea frappe - yum! And a roll with pork snitzel, coleslaw and sauce - also yum. This place is in a warehouse but decked out really cutely with a comfy range of chairs, tables and couches. Try it, it's worth the trip.

This Japanese-Aussie fusion cafe is a breath of fresh air and will quickly become a new favourite, mainly because of its unique differences...

(A) the bohemian warehouse vibe flows through the place and is present in every touch, it's seriously chilled out and authentically so. Right down to the beloved 3 legged house pup and the hessian coffee bags, which adorn the walls

(B) the Japanese twist. With half the family working the kitchen and coffee machine there is an easy efficiency. The menu is juxtaposed between two tastes but pulls it off effortlessly with great little surprises (like the lotus chips)

(C) it is seriously good value. Meals for $6 and $7 are such a rarity in Newcastle's normally overblown brekky menus. Ordering at the counter is the trade off here but the value weighs heavily in the customers favour. Not only is it good value you don't feel rushed out of there, the pace is relaxed

Looking forward to trying out the whole menu
