After rejecting a Scratchley's due to the poor attitude of the booking staff, we decided to try The Squires maiden as it was new and had good reviews. The menu looked nice and when we arrived our table was ready with a view of the harbour as requested(it was our anniversary). There was a range of patrons from young people to grey hair which we love. The music was good, the food lovely, but as discussed by others it would be nice to have more choice of vegetables. The deserts were wonderful we had the chocolate fondant & the panacotta which were both YUM!
The service was good and we were not pushed. The booking staff member was very friendly and refreshing after our experience with Scratchleys. The only fault was the weather, it was too cold and windy to walk along the wharf after dinner.
