Thoroughly enjoyed the pad thai ( a little bit heavy handed on the palm sugar, but delicious) and the fella travelling with me loved his Parma. An out of the way gem with an "old man" pub vibe.

Thank Cameron H

Catching up with family and friends over Christmas we ate here two nights in a row. First night was table of 8 family members. Every dish was generous and delicious. So good that when our group of 6 friends were left hanging at a fancy place at Honeysuckle I suggested we cab it to the Seven Seas. We were able to order based on what had been great the night before. Fabulous and no survivors. Can highly recommend chicken larb, massamun beef, cashew fried rice, tofu pad thai, chicken penang and the deep fried snapper with sweet chilli glaze because we had them two nights running. Aand at $20 a head who wouldn't be happy. Mouth watering! Service was very quick and friendly. Good wine plus Resches and Coopers on tap at pub prices of course. Even had a bit of a dance in the front bar on The Saturday night! Planning another get together in Newie in March and my sister coming from Brisbane has already requested we eat here.

I live in carrington and eat it all the time, at least once a week and still love it! always getting a new fav, at the moment it's a toss up between ginger stirfry and chili basil noodl. So go and enjoy the friendly service both in the kitchen an at the bar you won't be disappointed.

OK, Carrington is not the prettiest place in Newcastle...and this pub is in need of a renovation, but it is worth coming here for the Thai food from the Sticky Rice restaurant......fantastic quality and service....make sure you take advantage of their lunch specials for under $10. I used to work across the road from here, and it was one of our favourite haunts......and Tony the waiter is friendly and funny.
