Boasting ocean views and a short walking distance from historical sites such as Fort Scratchley and Nobby's Lighthouse. The restaurant features a beautiful alfresco dining area under the palms and is a stones throw away from the beach. Enjoy the relaxed elegance of the restaurant and bar with family and friends. “Bit Of An Average Brekkie”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

We were a group of seven who visited Scottie's for ANZAC day breakfast. The waitstaff were excellent, and easily accommodated our two extras as we booked for five. Drinks were ordered and brought promptly and our breakfasts were ordered, the waitress impressing by not needing to write anything down. And all meals were brought to the table exactly as ordered. She also checked with us every now and again for extra drinks and if the food was ok. Generally speaking, the food was fine, it's just that the kitchen did not manage to serve it all at the same time, and all hot. One of the diners had to ask for a return to the litchen for a microwave blast, which is disappointing. I ordered the poached eggs with grilled asparagus on grilled sourdough. It was fine, other than the fact that the poached eggs were cold and cooked hard in the centre. Pity. In this case, the wait staff did tremendously well, and the kitchen didn't come up to scratch at all.

“Great for Sunday Brekky on the go”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

We often stop in here for a Sunday Egg and Bacon roll... if you are looking for the take away ordering area, it's on the side of the building, it always feels a little clandestine to me. Great food especially for takeaway wander down to the foreshore to eat it with the sea breeze in your hair - nothing better, or easier, and there's no washing up!

“Best fish and chips”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

It may be a long queue.but worth the wait for crispy beer battered fish and chips. Then wander down the steps to sit in foreshore park to salivate and indulge.

“Rip Off”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

I have been here several times in 2013 and 2011. I wanted to be good. It has a cool atmosphere inside and out.
The burger: Looked fantastic. I could hardly taste the beef, their was so little on it.
Fish and Chips: Beautiful. Started eating - and same thing. All batter, VERY little fish.
Fries: Greasy.
Service: Very good and friendly, so I hated to write this review.

“Delicious, helpful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

Lovely meal, outdoor table - dozen oysters to start, seafood plate for main. Dory fillet, salt & pepper squid, prawns. Helpful service, went above-and-beyond to give us what we wanted. Highly recommended.
