We were a group of seven who visited Scottie's for ANZAC day breakfast. The waitstaff were excellent, and easily accommodated our two extras as we booked for five. Drinks were ordered and brought promptly and our breakfasts were ordered, the waitress impressing by not needing to write anything down. And all meals were brought to the table exactly as ordered. She also checked with us every now and again for extra drinks and if the food was ok. Generally speaking, the food was fine, it's just that the kitchen did not manage to serve it all at the same time, and all hot. One of the diners had to ask for a return to the litchen for a microwave blast, which is disappointing. I ordered the poached eggs with grilled asparagus on grilled sourdough. It was fine, other than the fact that the poached eggs were cold and cooked hard in the centre. Pity. In this case, the wait staff did tremendously well, and the kitchen didn't come up to scratch at all.
