“Always Good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

We often, maybe monthly have Chinese from Double Dragon, we always find it delicious. We use both the restaurant and take-away. You need to plan ahead and get your order in early for take-away because it is very busy, pays to book a table to, we eat late, so never had a problem. The food is always of high standard and although not cheap, we have never been disappointed. The staff are very busy, but we have always found them helpful and efficient .

“Best Chinese in Echuca Moama”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

The food in this restaurant is superb and would have got an excellent if it wasn't for the poor customer service. We had booked in but still had to wait and it wasn't until later in the service we actually got a waiter who was happy to chat about the food. I would still give it another go but maybe take away so we enjoy the great food but don't have to put up with the surly staff

“very disappointing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

The food was delicious, but extremely expensive. If you don't have the cheapest banquet at $33.00ph, do not expect to walk out of the restaurant for less than $110 a double with drinks. I felt that $8-50 for 3 spring rolls was exorbitant and the pineapple (tinned) and banana (over-ripe) fritters at $9 each was outrageous. Unfortunately the Asian staff weren't very accommodating at all. Main courses at $26 - $34 seem far too dear for a restaurant like this. We aren't in Chinatown, Melbourne

“Another great meal.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2013

On another recent visit to Echuca we took the opportunity to dine here again. This time the restaurant and the takeaway were very busy so the service was slower than the first time we visited. The food however didn't disappoint and was delicious. We will happily return next time we are in town

“Interesting Menu”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

Moama is a small township on the Murray River, and this restaurant was quite a surprise, especially so far from Melbourne and "China Town." I tried a dish named "Beef with five sauces." which was described as crunchy. When the dish arrived, the beef was rather like fine noodles coated with sesame seeds and lightly fried, set on finely chopped cabbage and spring onions. Three of the sauce ingredients were, vinegar, soy, chilli and two others I can't recall. The resultant meal was absolutely delicious, my companions also enjoyed their choices. The price of the meal was not expensive, although the cost of a bottle of local wine was a tad steep. The only minor complaint we had was the service, which was a bit haphazard.
