“Beautiful holiday!”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

We went for the first time to Echuca and were fortunate enough to stay in a riverside deluxe cabin. Jen and Peter went out of their way to make us feel like treasured guests. They are really a wonderful couple who have put their heart and soul into making this park amazing. It is so spotless you could eat off the floors!! They are passionate about what they do and go out of their way to be helpful. We could not recommend this highly enough and definitely recommend the riverside cabins -- we were so sad we only had a short time there as we would have loved to have moved in! The view of the Murray is breathtaking and the park is full of gorgeous trees. This is without question the best holiday park we have ever visited!

Room Tip: Go for the luxury of a riverfront cabin-- the view is spectacular!!

We had the pleasure recently of spending one night in one of the riverside cabins and overall would have to say that we were very pleased with the accommodation and the facilities. You couldn't beat the relaxation of sitting on your balcony watching the movement, both human and animal, on the Murray River and feeling all of your stresses going away with the speed of the current of the river!
It is situated within a wonderful stroll of the town centre of Moama, and if you are happy walking across bridges, not all that far from Echuca as well. No need to get the car out once you have arrived unless you are going further afield than either of the two towns.
The only issues that we had were pretty minor, but would affect any plans on staying again, or longer than one night.
While the bed in the main bedroom was quite comfortable, the space between the bed, the walls and the open door was very tight. It was almost impossible to get into or out of bed without going over the end, or by shuffling sideways holding onto the wall. While this might not be an issue for a lot of people, I suffer from chronic vertigo and found this really difficult to deal with (my perfectly healthy hubby also complained about this). A small issue in the larger scheme of things, but definitely a consideration.
The other tiny thing (and perhaps most people would think this would be very minor) was the direction in the form of the notice on the fridge that the bin was to be emptied prior to departure. We are pretty clean and tidy people (we were surprised that apparently there are people who use commercial accommodation who don't do their own washing up and need to be reminded that this should be done), but I'm not sure why I need to empty my own bin. Does this action really save the cleaners that much time that a paying guest needs to do this? It was not difficult for us to do this (and of course we complied), but it did rankle just a bit.
I would still recommend it for adults (certainly not really small children given the ease with which they could slip through the wire fence to the river among other ways of getting access to the water) and families with slightly older children. The good far outweigh the slightly annoying!

I have been staying in the park for many years and some of the best childhood memories I have were made here! My partner and I visited echuca moama during summer last year ( not staying here but in a far worse park ) and before we left I took him to show him this park and get a price list. The owners were very friendly and let us wander around the park. Sure enough my partner was sold! We've just stayed there for three nights in a beautiful riverfront cabin with our own personal BBQ on our deck. The cabin was very modern and had a huge shower and couch! We could fish just a few steps from our cabin which was very convenient. We are already planning our next trip back. There's no where better to stay in the area. Thanks heaps :) !

Park set amongst tall trees gives plenty of shade for the hot weather. The park is set for cabins rather than caravans. We found the accommodation expensive and very cramped. It was difficult to get even a small van onto the site. Toilet block was large and clean with good showers. While it is next to the Highway, road noise was not an issue.

What a lovely relaxing resort overlooking the Murray River
Pete and Jen are really doing very well in hosting this cabin park. They have only been there a little over a year,so early teething problems appear sorted.Very friendly and enjoy a chit chat............Others in town could learn from their approach
Our room overlooked the river with the boats of all varieties passing.
The pool is extremely clean and a good size with plenty of lounge chairs.
I wanted to book Easter but no cabins available.
If they had more one bedroom cabins(without bunks) it would be cheaper and we would stay much more often.
Will definatly book again as we visit Echuca many times all year round

Stayed for the weekend of the Riverboat Festival and was very impressed by the quality of the park. The cabins were clean and first class, the pool area was excellent and Pete & Jen go out of their way to assist in any way. This is our second festival staying at this park and we will be back for a third year with some more friends.
Thanks guys for an excellent stay.
Tony & Janine

Thanks Janine and Tony!
Great to see you are coming back for a 3rd year - you seem to have a bit of a tradition happening. We are fortunate to be within walking distance to the festival so it does make for a great location. See you next February!

Always anxious after reading bad reviews, but couldn't have been happier with our time spent here. Owners were friendly, pool was so clean and facilities were well maintained. Train was such a hit and we can't wait to go back!! Family were able to visit us there without a hassle and it's in a great location. Quick walk to the bowls club for a nice meal.
