Have stayed here many times during travels to Qld then back to Vic, and have never had a bad stay. Last stay in December was more of the same - service is always friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, amenities are always good, equipment is always working, and close-to-highway location is convenient, and surprisingly quiet. Very highly recommended as a convenient greay value-for-money stay away from the big cities.

On my lastest adventure I over estimated my ability to drive through the night from Sydney home to Melbourne so we had to pull over at the first 24 hour hotel we found

I have been to goulburn before so I did recall seeing one. We pulled up at 2.30 am, the third company booking company they use for after hours were amazingly helpful and got our room paid for.
The night manager saw us pull up and he came up for a chat and to see if we were ok, it's a rather large resort so he directed us to our room - complete with milk and cookies.

The room was ace. Great beds I have never slept so well, out the front car parking and a full sized spa.

Should I be out there again I will be back. Be it on a midnight drive or to stay properly

This place was prefect, we arrived at 2:30am and they were so helpful, we got to stay in a lovely room, with a spa and warm comfortable beds. Even the mini bar prices were great!
The owner was so very lovely and welcoming. If I was ever in need of a hotel in this area again, I would defiantly check in again.

We stopped here on our way to Newcastle as a rest day for the family on our Christmas holidays.
We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities. Two bedroom family room was spacious & clean the bathroom was very large! We had a relaxing swim being checked in early in the day. The restaurant was not open for tea the night we were there but that was no issue for us. The staff were very friendly - nothing was a problem very helpful.

We stopped here on our way to the South Coast after the weather turned nasty and we needed to postpone setting up our camp in Jervis Bay. The room was big and comfy, the bathroom was HUGE and the service was good. A fair distance out of the centre of town, but if you are just passing through that is not an issue as there are plenty of eateries etc within a minute of the motel.

The Trappers Goulburn is listed as a 4 1/2 star property. The rooms are OK. Dated but perfectly clean neat and tidy. We didn't visit the restaurant or the conference rooms but they would have to be great to make up the difference. After saying this at $100 a night it is not bad. The staff were great and we were very happy with the bed. I have stayed in 3 star hotels which cost more. We have also stayed at 3 star hotels that had better rooms.

We stayed here as half way stop when we were travelling from Melbourne back to North Coast NSW. We had arrived in Goulburn late and so just grabbed the first room we could find and was horrified at what we found. For the price, the room was dated, smelly and had the most uncomfortable bed ever!!!!! We didn't get a wink of sleep because of how hard it was! Thankfully we were up early and away and only had to spend about 7hrs all up in the room.

I definately will never stay in this hotel ever again.
