The first thing you notice when you arrive at The Goulburn Motor Inn is the tidy way it is kept and the really friendly reception you get. Nothing is too hard including dinner bookings! The rooms are exceptional, warm, quiet and beautifully kept. I had expected some truck brake noise during the night. Not so! We slept so well we nearly slept throught the alarm! The air is cool in July in Goulburn and the motel more than accommodates for that in warm bedding and whisper quiet air conditioning. The showers are instantly warm and thankfully so. The tariff is really competitive compared to what you get in other rural areas. I will definitely be coming back to this town and this motel.

We have stayed here several times. We like it because of the large room size, the proximity to the main street - we walk to a Chinese restaurant, and to Woolies. We find it quiet and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for showers, despite the cold outside. The rooms are warm in winter, and the bedding is more than adequate.
There is plenty of off street parking, but there are no assigned spaces.

Excellent location& modern very comfortable rooms.
Loved the coloured sheets & towels, also towels in bathroom where they should be , not on the bed. . Big TV , quiet rooms.
Excellent suggestions for meals nearby.

Spent one night here on our way through to Cooma. We tried another motel outside of town but their restaurant was closed due to it being a public holiday so we wanted to stay closer to town for access to pubs, restaurants for a meal. Rooms were clean and comfortable and I did not hear any road noise except for the morning work traffic around 7.30 - 8am. (which we were awake anyway). Easy flat walk to a couple of pubs and the main road around the corner with the usual town amenities. Very friendly staff and off street parking available. Very plain hotel to look at from the outside but everything you need inside for a comfortable nights sleep. The heater also came in handy. I would definately stay here again. We had a down stairs room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed.

On a roadtrip north motel in a great location passed a number of larger more modern motels on the way out of town and was pleased to have stayed in the CBDa edge, minutes to pubs, restaurants etc, good standard room at a fair rate, clean and cosy, made room for our van. Staff very nice ,would stay again
