Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Great location, walking distance to main shopping area. Didn't get to use the pool as it was still slightly cool weather. We had a 2 bedroom unit. Would have been nice to have a little kitchenette to cook some of our meals.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your review. It was great to read that you enjoyed your stay and that you found the staff helpful. As you also mentioned we are in a very convenient location.
In regards to the cooking facilities for the units we unfortunatley don't have any self contained units but we do offer a microwave on request which families and extended stay guests in particulary seem to find convenient.
Regards,
Sandra

Arriving in a small goup with 2 other families, my teenage daughter and I found the Aberdeen Motor Inn a very comfortable place to stay for a weekend whilst playing at a girls cricket carnival. Having 2 beds in the room rather than needing to use a sofa bed (although there was one in the room) was something we were looking for, so we both had a comfortable nights sleep. The room was spacious and clean, and although a little dated the bathroom was clean and well stocked with amenities and hair dryer. The finishing touch was the evening offer to wash and dry the girls cricket whites ready for the next days play. The clothes came back promptly all washed and dried - at no extra charge! Thank you. I know that little personal touch made the girls more comfortable the next day and was something we have already mentioned to family and friends. I would definitely stay again.

Without a booking, we walked in and greeted by Robyn at reception.. $99.00 on a Friday night for a twin room was a bargain. The room itself was spacious, flat screen tv and very clean and welcoming.

We even decided to stay a second night. Would I stay here again.. absolutely!

We stayed for one night - 2 adults, 2 kids (13, 15) - in a queen bed + 2 singles.

Absolutely loved this place! So clean and comfortable! Receptionist was so welcoming.

Room Tip: Ground floor, much easier.

stayed 3 nights on a business trip. Motel is easy to find in a line of motels in the centre of town on the highway, making comfortable walks to CBD restaurants/pubs. Location on the highway a slight disadvantage too - found it hard to get a good night's slep with the highway noise. I was in a first floor room near the road though; probably less noise on ground floor and further back.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed with a queen bed, a single bed and a fold out couch. Mattress was approaching the "tired" stage but everything was clean and well maintained.
Stayed there on a particularly cold night and heating was only adequate despite a near new reverse cycle air conditioner. Probably a result of the large room size and needing to insert your room key to operate the heater (couldn't leave it running when out having dinner)
No complaints about service and price. Tarriffs relatively cheap when considering you'd pay upwards of $120/night at similar motels in similar towns. Mini bar prices also realistic ($5 for a stubby of Crown Lager)
Upstairs rooms are accessed by a fairly steep two-flight staircase. If infirm or travelling with a lot of bags, I'd request a ground floor room for easy access.

Room Tip: ask for ground floor and back from the highway

Hi Grant,
Thank you for reviewing your resent stay with us at the Aberdeen.
We were happy to hear that you found our prices reasonable and the room spacious, well appointed and clean. In regards to the noise you experienced from the road, we are more than happy to accommodate any room preferences (within our availability) that our guests might have, whether it be first floor, ground floor, away from the road or a specific favourite room number.
We hope that if you are looking for accommodation in Dubbo again you will keep us in mind.
Regards,
Sandra

Just spent weekend at this establishment as we played touch football at Dubbo. Great staff that helped us with all our needs. Not sure of the ladies name but she said she was a trainee .Her service was fabulous.
