After reading other diners reviews decided to give Red Earth a try as a new-to-Dubbo resident. No problem getting a table without a booking and the waitress was friendly and welcoming. The service was slow (but not really an issue for us) and a drink order forgotten - amends made by providing drinks complimentary. Small but balanced menu. Our salmon was perfectly cooked but the dish was quite plain and could have used a little sauce of some sort. The chocolate crème brulee tasted quite nice but lacked the crispy, crunchy classic topping. It was however, served with an excellent shortbread and vanilla ice-cream. Pleased to see local wines (Orange) on the wine list. The piano player was absent due to an external engagement. Will try again but not rushing back.
