We came to dubbo to go to the zoo like most others. It's a 5 min drive to the zoo, a short stroll to the shopping centre, and fast foods across the road if we were feeling ultra lazy. The best thing really was the service. They had no issues with us having an extra in the room at no charge. The extra was a toddler. Because we got in late, they also put the heater on to make the room warm upon arrival.

Stayed here overnight from Gold coast to Griffith. After driving for 11 hours we were tired and hungry and decided to order room service from their "fine dining" restaurant for dinner, big mistake! I ordered the quiche with walnut rocket salad. Quiche was bland and it was just a basic garden salad! No walnuts or rocket in sight!! Ordered the husband fishermans basket which was meant to come with chips and salad. Everything was over cooked and came from a box from the local supermarket. His "salad" consisted of lettuce and that was it oh and about 5 chips!
The bathroom had been updated and the tiles and shower looked good but then they had fitted old and outdated vanities and taps into the renovated room which was slightly weird!
There are no allocated carspaces and because of this cars that had arrived before us took up 5 car spaces with 3 cars so we had to park our car quite a distance and drag our luggage across the cobbled carpark. Our room faced the highway and maybe because it was a Friday night it seemed quite noisy. Also a huge round table with heavy thick table cloths was placed right in front of the heater so the room took longer to heat up than it should have.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway.

My children and I were booked in to stay at the zoo for the weekend and book the heritage motor in to stay the night before. Very clean room and comfortable beds. Friendly service. Across the road from at the major take-a-ways. Very convenient.

Stayed here for work and liked the look of the place. Initial impressions were very good as room looked impressive. Trouble was, bed was close to a wall, so most single travelers obviously slept on the other side. As a result mattress dipped to one side which led to an uncomfortable sleep. They should either get new ones or turn them over from time to time.

Toilet leaked all night which was a distraction. Thought free internet was good until their filters prevented many sites including the weather and even Bigpond to check personal emails! Basically useless.

On the positive side, breakfast was very good, if somewhat expensive. Cooked brekky for $16.50 but that did not include juice or coffee, and if you had both it was another $9.50. Other option was a combination continental and cooked for $25 which we took. Nice friendly staff but they should fix the little things.

Love staying here. i travel to Dubbo regularly and keep coming back to this motel. The satff are great, the rooms are big, well furnished and clean. It is on a main road (Cobra St) but not noisy. It has a bath as well which is always nice when travelling.

After a big days drive from Melb in 40+ degrees temps.... in my order of priorities, was a beer, if possible a cool off in a pool, a meal, and a good nights rest.
The beer was icy cold.....the pool was refreshing and crystal clear. My steak was excellent, (I'm a butcher) our room was spacious, clean and our bed was as comfortable as home.
Would also like to add that Kaylas' attitude and service, in my opinion, I would consider her a genuine asset to your business. Extremely impressed.
Would not hesitate in recommending the Heritage Motor Inn to anyone seeking accom. in Dubbo. Thank you for the pleasant surprise. Mick & Kellie.

Been a while between trips but very impressed with upgrades happening over the years. Always upping the ante on comparative hotels in the area. Rooms were comfy and cosy and more especially clean with relaxing decor and plenty of room to spread junk (mainly work docs...) everywhere without tripping over all my work paraphanelia. Room service excellent with attentive staff who made sure my every need was met. Restaurant first class service and food and didn't mind stylising the menu to suit my tastes. Just wish I had room for desert. Highly recommended for Corporate stays

Room Tip: This is one motel where you can approach staff if you are not happy with anything. They bend over b...
