Had breakfast here for the first time. I had corn fritters while the teenager had pancakes. Pancakes looked delicious with lots of fruit and teenager said they were nice.

While the corn fritters were yummy the bacon was dry and had been cooked some time ago. Had a strange bitter taste and was not nice. My poached egg was also over cooked and no longer runny.

Service was great and the place was busy. Maybe we should have gone a bit earlier in the morning.

After a few years now of practice SC have made it to the stage of consistently good food and service. Still a bit noisy in peak times but generally the food is excellent.

Found the service here to be friendly and attentive. Outlet had approximately 30 diners at the time and meals were served in very acceptable time frames.

Food was tasty and decent in portion size. Decor and surroundings is very modern, bright and cheery. Your choice of lounges, chairs and various table sizes to choose from.

I didn't mind paying the few extra dollars for the service and overall experience we received.

Took a stroll through the park opposite after lunch which capped off an enjoyable couple of hours.

Would recommend and return to Sweet Caramel.

On our way to Dubbo and stopped in Bathurst for breakfast. We drove around looking for a cafe and stumbled on Sweet Caramel. Opposite the beautiful old courthouse and gardens, great cafe. We were warmly greeted. Cafe is eclectic, shabby chic, French farmhouse, lots of odd tables and chairs, it has a nice atmosphere. Staff exceptionally friendly and service you don't see very much of these days. The coffe omg so creamy, it was so good. Husband had bacon and egg on toast and I had toasted bacon and egg sandwich. Delicious food, well cooked and again the service. Great! Liked it so much we stoped on the way back for a late lunch and that coffee again, on the way home. The schnitzel burger was so tasty. We bought some of the homemade meringue. The rose water and pistachio is to die for.

Good cafe, greattttt service, great food. Will visit again next time in Bathurst
