“One of the best meals of our trip”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

We booked a table here as a direct result of previous good reviews and were not disappointed. Whilst the service was a little hap hazard, (our bread arrived with our appetisers), the food was excellent. We would normally have had a desert, but the menus seemed to get lost, so we ended up just paying the bill. Probably just as we'll in the end because we certainly weren't hungry.

“excellent meal”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Had our dinner here as we had a gift voucher as part of the deal with our motel the Bay Breeze, we had a $100 voucher to use, and got an entrée of bread and olives, our mains and dessert.
If we didn't have a voucher we possibly wouldn't have had 3 courses as the main meals are a little pricey but definitely amazing!! and the staff were lovely and friendly

“Poor overpriced meals”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

Beautiful setting but dining experience sad. Kilpatrick oysters dry. Filet steak lacked seasoning..where was truffle salt? Grilled fish soft with some sweetish sauce..peach? All very expensive as if top dining! But not.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

We have dined her several times before and have always enjoyed it however this time I have to say we were disappointed. Great location , oyster entrees fantastic , mains steak and pork belly where good but then we where left for what felt like nearly an hour with plates on our table waiting for desert coffee etc. anything.... Had planned this rare evening without kids and left rather flat simply by the floor staff. Unfortunate that the great work on the kitchen was not matched front of house.
I hate to think what it would be like if it had if been a full house.
Will we go back? Maybe....

“Great little seafood restaurant”
Reviewed January 31, 2014 via mobile

We've driven past this place for years but never tried it. We had a spare night in Batemans Bay - and it checked out ok on TA - so gave it a try. We had a table under the canvas awning which was fine as we were out of the breeze.

We had our kids who chose the two course kids menu for $19 each including a drink. Meals were same quality as adult ones. They were both made welcome by the waitresses too. We chose a seafood platter for one to share - ample for us with a side salad for some greens. The selection was varied, nicely cooked and presented. Wine list is very accessible price wise.

Creme brulee to share for desert but we got lucky and were given two as the kitchen made an extra by mistake.

Great finish to our holiday!

Only slight detractors would be the road noise from the bridge, odd choice of music (90s pub). The two balance each other out...
