This campsite deserves its 5 stars, is clean, well run and the cabins are excellent.
The beach is directly from the site and is fabulous, quiet everyday, warm sea, just wonderful.

Lots to do onsite, Mini golf, jumping pillow, pool, go-karts. Plenty of places for the kids to play cricket/soccer etc.

We stayed a week in a combination of accommodation types. The great thing about this resort is that a group who has different needs are able to be located together. Most of our group of 10 plus a toddler wanted beachfront cabins, but one couple wanted campsite. No problem. We booked ahead and were all in a cluster together in Black Swan, Lorikeet and a nearby onsuite campsite. Site security was as tight as possible with a code required for entry and exit and only one car per cabin or campsite allowed and any one time. The system can tell when your car is onsite too, so you can't just let other people use your code. Codes expire very smartly at check out time on your last day. I really can't see how the park managers could do more in this respect.
Our daughter has some trouble getting their tent up on their ensuite site. The campsite had a large concrete pad for the tent, but the match of tent to campsite just wasn't working. Fortunately the site without ensuite next door was vacant and the park clearly with ample other sites available so management allowed them to use that as well as their ensuite facilities.
The BBQs on our verandahs weren't much good and we preferred to use the communal bbq nearby which was immaculately maintained and much more effective at the job but out in the weather.
One disappointing thing was that the luxury cabins have no oven. Theoretically I guess you're expected to use the hooded bbq... but yeah... see comments about our bbqs. I didn't think to check the communal kitchen for an oven... but you shouldn't have to IMHO.
The jumping pillow was great and the mini golf was very well maintained.
I agree about the parking for some of the cabins. We chose cabins close to parking for our elderly members and were glad to have done so.
Overall, would I stay here again? Yes, if I was wanting somewhere in this locality.. but really I think I'd probably look at staying in Moruya - where the food was great - much better than what we had in Bateman's Bay. Moruya isn't on the beach of course... but we ended up spending zero beach time anyway. Combination of weather and other activities planned.

The 3rd place we stayed on our trip. The boss insisted on visiting several parks on the south shore of the bay. This one was by far the best.

The dreaded number codes were in use. Again I don't understand why we have to have seperate numbers for the boom gates, amenities and in this case the disabled toilets while the amenities were being cleaned. Anyway...

We got a powered site (no ensuits available). It was very flat and the slab was a good size for us.

The big problem was the other guests. Some didn't seem able to use the amenities properly and some were quite noisy. Park would have been quiet if not for the nearby guests who stayed up late making a racket.

Amenities were not too far away. This was the only park we stayed at where the amenities were closed for cleaning when we wanted to use them. This happened several times.

The boss was being bitten so we had to buy some spray.

Staff were very helpful and patient.

Room Tip: Have a look at sites available as they vary quite a bit. Ensuits are elevated up a few stairs.

This holiday park is up to and surpasses the Big 4 standard . I found the location great as was the staff. The price was what you would expect for this quality. The only thing that could make it better was if it was somewhere else.

As with previous reviewer I dont have much experience in caravans parks. It was an unexpected delight and we had a lovely 5 day stay. We rented a two bedroom cabin (more like an apartment). Very clean, comfortable and good attention to detail. We could see the bay from the deck . The deck had electric BBQ. Kitchen had cooktop (but not stove) and microwave. The attention to detail was excellent and it was quieter at night than where my sister and her husband stayed in a much more upmarket and expensive resort. (they both preferred our accommadation). The staff (gardener, cleaner, reception) were helpful and friendly and the 10am "curfew" made for a good nights sleep. One room had double bed and TV (also TV in lounge) the other a double bed and bunk. The ladder to bunk bed quite steep so you need to be agile.

The only slight drawback is the wi fi. Its is free but was extremely unreliable when we stayed so if internet important to you bear this in mind. My brother did get good reception via his smart phone laptop combo (and didnt worry about wi fi).

In front of our cabin was a grassed area which we were told is used by campers in high season. There was no-one camping there when we stayed in Oct..so it would be very busy in high season and much noiser and views would be impeded at that time.

There is no restaurant but good laundry facilities.

Room Tip: Bottle Brush or StingRay Cabins have good water view but would be different during high season. Not...

I am not a frequenter of caravan parks so my experience with this Resort was unexpected. We had booked a 2 storey cabin (apartment??) which claimed to have elevated beach views. Sadly that was not the case. If you stand you would see a glimpse of the water but beach views, no. We did hear the waves however. The accommodation itself was pleasant enough and the service impeccable. As our stay was low season and during the week we were not troubled by fellow campers. With the curfew on noise after 10:00 (or 10:30) I would imagine it would be equally pleasant and comfortable during peak hours. The laundry facilities were very good and I had the opportunity to do a full load without any hassle whatsoever. A tip for newcomers, take your laundry detergent and pegs - if you are staying in a cabin.
