“Spectacular plants, trees and birds, a bit of paradise”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

The food is café style and very reasonable but the setting is out of this world, just fabulous. The service is a slow so don't go there if you are in a hurry but the food is tasty and fresh

“Peaceful Gardens”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

Looking for a nice picnic area - great facilities for the children - loved gardens - helpful volunteers - easy walks on well defined tracks and a background into the trees and plants of the area? This is it - also has a cafe - close to Batemans Bay and cost is free.

“Beautiful place”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

A pretty place and very easy to find. Surrounded by nature its a great place to simply stop by for a snack or if you walt to spend more time following the tracks.

Got something to eat as soon as we arrived. We got a Devonshire tea and a Burger and both were very nice. Also, there are some picnic areas if you byo.

The tracks are very well kept and very easy. The colours show the path and there are several track so you can choose how long you want to make your visit. There is also a reduced mobility track.

Im not specially interested in names of trees and all but the place is very pretty and if you are into it, there are some explanations about them or some animals in the sides of the different tracks.

Free parking available.

“Nature is beautiful.”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

Beautiful place with walking trails, even one for children to spot animals. See the lovely volunteers before heading out and they will give your child an activity sheet to complete on the walk. New park and BBQ area. Clean and tidy. We always go for a walk and picnic.

“Beautiful gardens & sensational playground”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

This garden is a hidden gem! There are a number of walks to do and its big and spread out. There's a very cool bird hide near a small lake, bush tucker trail, cafe, much of it is wheel chair / pram accessible and a children's discovery walk. The reason we go is to take the kids to the amazing play area. It's a bit different from the average playground with a variety of interactive musical sculptures, mud brick cubby house, twin slides down a bank in the forest and free BBQ area in a gorgeous bush setting. It gets busy on weekends and school holidays though and mozzies can be bad in warmer months so pack some repellent.
