We stayed in an elevated cabin with wonderful seaviews. Really loved staying there, it was peaceful, the cabin was well equipped and very clean. Sitting out on the private shady verandah for breakfast or a takeaway dinner was great. The town is about 5-10 mins walk across the bridge, pedestrians have a separate area to walk so it's safe from vehicles.
There's a varied choice of accommodation in the park, we paid $126 per night, price varies whether it's the weekend or a weekday. Reception was friendly and helpful when we turned up without a booking and asked about availability and price. The shower was good but I would have preferred a firmer mattress on the bed. There was airconditioning but we didn't use it, just opened up the windows for a lovely seabreeze.
There is a communal laundry you can use and a few books to borrow or swap at reception. The main thing we didn't like was the traffic on the road behind the park was a bit noisy at times but we would definitely love to return one day and stay for longer.
