“Excellent stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

Hosts David and Bron made our stay a pleasure. The Garden suite we stayed in was divine and felt like a home away from home. Everything about this B&B was quality right down to the jug of fresh milk in the fridge. Bron and David were also more than happy to share about their other enterprise... Alpacas. Highly recommend Glenhope.

Absolutely loved our stay at Glenhope Alpacas B&B. We used both suites for 2 families including 4 kids. David and Bron were lovely hosts. The rooms were clean and tidy. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast with homemade bread and fresh fruit.
David was very kind to let us feed the Alpacas. Kids loved feeding and patting the gentle animals. The four boys also got the chance to have a close inspection of David’s quadbike. Only regret is we did not stay more.

Stayed on two successive Saturday nights in August. The hosts, Bron and David, are friendly and hospitable; the setting is beautiful; the rooms are warm (it was winter), comfortable, clean and spacious, and there is freshly baked bread and newly laid eggs for breakfast in the mornings. Undoubtedly the best B and B I have ever stayed in.

Oh man. What a beautiful and awesome place!

My friend and I stayed here because it was close to the uni and because I love animals. WE LOVED IT.
It was so beautiful and tranquil and quiet and peaceful and all we could hear were the birds chirping! The garden is stunning and it was so lovely to be able to walk around around the beautiful gardens and paddocks and say hi to the adorable alpacas! They were so damn cute, I wanted to take a few home with me. I got to feed them a few times too which was hilarious - they all came running towards us and munched on the grass I was holding. They're the funniest animals, they always seem to be smiling.

The sky is so clear out there that I got to see the milk in the Milky Way for the first time in years. I couldn't believe it was still visible like that! Just beautiful.

The accommodation is fantastic. We stayed in the Conservatory Suite which is huge. It has a nice kitchen and big dining room and lots of lounges where you could just spend the day relaxing and reading. The bed is super comfy. It's also warm and snuggy inside so you don't get cold on those minus 5 nights.

David and Bronwyn were lovely and didn't mind me wanting to snuggle the alpacas all the time. :-)

Also it's really convenient and close to the uni. It only took about 5 minutes to get there. Oh and one day there was also a koala up a tree!

We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Armidale but probably for a bit longer. I highly recommend Glenhope!!!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Certainly people who enjoy the simple things in life get most from a farmstay experience. We look forward to seeing you again.

Glenhope is not only an interesting place to visit for the totally loveable alpacas but it is also a superlative B&B. The accommodation is very comfortable especially on a cold New England night. We were toasty under the alpaca doona! We chose the self service breakfast which was deposited discreetly in the adjoining laundry room. It was a generous country breakfast with juice, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, eggs and a basket of freshly baked hot bread and spreads. There is a nice sunny patio outside where we were visited by the two pet chooks. It is a real picture- book farm! Bron and David have paid attention to the details that matter - a fine selection of music, DVDs and books, real coffee and the plunger to make it.We want to come back again for longer next time.

Room Tip: This would be a great family venue. One unit has room for a couple plus one child while the other ha...

Thank you for taking time to review Glenhope B&B. We are pleased you enjoyed connecting to the alpacas and our very friendly chooks. Fortunately it has warmed up, the wattles are in full bloom and spring is in the air. We do hope you are able to visit again.

Nice, friendly and homely B&B. would highly recommend staying there. We stayed here one night in July 2013. Two couples with a newborn baby. Had separate apartments. Great space, clean apartments We all loved the Alpacas.
